A gothic event, launching The Normal State of Mind and Cornwall...

After getting handsome to snap some photos of rising star Rebecca F. John (Sunday Times EFG 2015 Short Story Award shortlist, and one the authors i work with at Parthian)...

We had a gothic night of variety at Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff... with readings from A Flock of Shadows, The Ghastling, Arthur Machen (Library of Wales series) and a script in hand performance from The Strange Case of Dr Jeckyll and Mr Hyde...

... and then, early the next day Torben and I headed to Plymouth to see a cousin and launch Susmita Bhattacharya's novel The Normal State of Mind at Waterstones...

Then we carried on to Cornwall so that he could meet my relatives... but he refused to leave the house after reading about the local crime wave...

& the cliffs were unstable anyway...
