Nu2: Memorable Firsts Out This Month

Whoop whoop! Nu2: Memorable Firsts comes out this month and I have three poems in it. In fact all three of The Raconteur's editorial team are in the new edition and we have an official launch at Chapter in Cardiff on 13 July 7pm.
Nu2: Memorable Firsts will include poetry and short fiction from Richard Owain Roberts, Darja Ernst, Gareth Hill, Mao Jones, Gary Raymond, Susie Wild, Emily Blewitt, Siôn Tomos Owen, Joao Morais, Tim Evans, Mab Jones and Dylan Moore....

Look at this lovely quote about the first Nu, which I had a short story in...
"Wales really does seem to be harbouring some exponentially talented writers and this anthology collates the newest among them. Reading it reminds you that writing can be dangerous, can be rock 'n' roll, can be sexy. A sumptious mix of prose and poetry rubs shoulders with delicately constructed photo essays, showing that all the best anthologies don't have to stick to just one medium. If this is a sign of the future, us book fans are in for one hell of a time ." - Buzz Magazine

I'm the featured artist in the new issue of Time to stand and stop and stare   this week, a place where artists and makers share their experience of isolation and creativity during the Coronavirus lockdown 2020: Hello and welcome to issue 9! Something a little different today as we’re joined by the very talented Cardiff writer Susie Wildsmith, hope you enjoy! Locked in to Lockdown with Susie Wild (AKA Susie Wildsmith) Are you ready? Here goes... Can you tell us a little about your creative practice - what attracted you to this particular art form; when and how did you begin? I couldn’t not write poetry. I have written it since I was a little girl, secretly, and then less secretly, and less secretly again as I have grown. I was rarely bored as I learnt poems off by heart and recited them in my head, I wish I could learn words quite so quickly now. My first collections of poetry and short stories concern themselves with relationships, human quirks and oddness, the strange and the ma...
